About this item
Desk space tight? The GMKtec M5 Ultra mini PC fits a full desktop setup into a compact box. It has an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U boosting up to 4.5GHz, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and it's listed new at $479.99.
Is the GMKtec M5 Ultra a good mini gaming PC?
The seller lists it under gaming, but the title doesn't mention a separate graphics card. Expect casual, indie and older games rather than new AAA releases at high settings. It's well matched for office work, media streaming and home use.
- Peripherals: unless the listing says otherwise, plan for your own monitor, keyboard and mouse.
- Display outputs: check the listing for HDMI and other ports if you run two screens.
- Operating system: confirm whether Windows is installed and activated.
- In the box: verify the power adapter and any mounting bracket.
