About this item
The Royal Kludge RK61 60% mechanical keyboard is a compact, tri-mode RGB board in black with blue switches. Its small footprint frees up desk space for mouse movement, which is why gamers, students and travelers like this layout. This one is listed open box at $39.99.
Are blue switches right for a 60% gaming keyboard?
Blue switches are typically tactile and clicky, which many typists enjoy. They can be loud in shared rooms, in dorms or on voice chat, so think about your space.
- Tri-mode setup: confirm in the listing which connection modes are supported and whether a receiver is included.
- Cable: check that the USB cable is in the box.
- Missing parts: open box listings sometimes lack the keycap puller or have loose caps, so review the photos.
- 60% layout: there are no dedicated arrow keys or function row, so expect to use key combos.
It's a budget-friendly entry into mechanical keyboards, and the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers it.
