About this item
This gaming desktop PC with an Intel Core i5-8500 and GTX 1080 pairs 32GB of DDR4 memory with a 1TB SSD, plus WiFi and Windows 11 Pro, for $499.85. It's listed as open box, so it may appeal to budget gamers who want a lot of RAM without paying new-build prices.
Is an i5-8500 and GTX 1080 gaming PC still worth buying?
For 1080p play and everyday multitasking it can be a sensible value pick, and 32GB of RAM leaves room for streaming or browser-heavy work. Compare it against newer builds at a similar price before deciding.
- Open box details: read the seller's notes on what was used and what's included.
- Power and cables: confirm a power cord and any WiFi antennas come in the box.
- Windows 11 Pro: check that it's activated with a valid license.
- Photos: look for clear shots of the internals and ports.
