About this item
On a crowded desk or TV stand, a Gigabyte BRIX Pro ultra compact PC kit takes up very little room. This new GB-BXi7-4770R listing includes 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for $235.00.
Is the Gigabyte BRIX Pro mini PC still useful today?
The model number points to an Intel Core i7-4770R, an older-generation chip. Treat it as a light-duty machine, such as a media player, home server, kiosk or basic office computer.
- Operating system: None is listed. "Kit" units often come without one, so plan to install your own.
- Windows 11: Check compatibility, since older processors may not meet its requirements.
- Contents: Confirm the power adapter is included.
- Ports: Review the description for the video and USB connections you need.
