About this item
The open-box GMKtec M8 gaming mini PC stands out for one feature in its title: an OCuLink port. Add a Ryzen 5 Pro 6650H, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and Windows 11, and this $389.99 listing from an independent eBay seller becomes an interesting option for a small-footprint gaming or work setup.
What is OCuLink on a mini PC used for?
OCuLink is a PCIe-based connection commonly used to attach an external graphics card dock, which can turn a compact PC into a stronger gaming rig later on.
- eGPU plans: a dock, power supply and graphics card are not mentioned in the title, so budget for them.
- Out of the box: without an eGPU, you rely on the processor's built-in graphics, best for lighter games.
- RAM and SSD: confirm the memory type and whether it can be upgraded.
- Open-box check: make sure the power adapter is included.
