About this item
The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld gaming PC brings serious specs to portable PC gaming. It lists Intel Arc G3 Extreme, 32GB of memory, 1TB of storage and an 8-inch 120Hz display. This open-box unit is priced at $2,249.
Should you buy an open-box handheld gaming PC?
It can save you money, but handhelds take more physical wear than laptops, so look closely at the controls.
- Sticks and buttons: ask whether the thumbsticks drift and whether every button responds.
- Price check: $2,249 is a lot for a handheld, so compare it with new pricing elsewhere.
- Box contents: make sure the charger is included.
- Screen: check the photos for scratches on the 8-inch panel.
If it arrives not as described, it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. That's a useful safety net on a big-ticket gaming gadget for travel and couch play.
