About this item
A 512GB SSD for under $180 is the headline on this SGIN 15.6-inch FHD laptop, which the seller lists as new at $177.99. Inside is an Intel Core i3-5005U with 8GB of RAM, along with a 7000mAh battery and Windows 11.
Is the SGIN Core i3 laptop good for students and basic office work?
It covers the basics: note-taking, browsing, word processing and video playback. The i3-5005U is an older-generation Intel processor. Expect modest speed with many browser tabs open or with demanding apps, and look elsewhere for gaming.
- Storage room: 512GB leaves space for documents, photos and offline files.
- Battery: 7000mAh is the listed capacity. Runtime isn't stated, so ask the seller.
- Windows 11: check whether the listing names the edition (Home or Pro).
- In the box: confirm the charger and any accessories in the description.
