About this item
The Think Outside Stowaway IR wireless keyboard comes from the era of Pocket PC and Palm OS handhelds, when infrared was the way to type on a PDA. This open-box example is listed at $120. It's a good fit for retro tech collectors and anyone restoring a vintage handheld setup.
Will this Stowaway infrared keyboard work with my Palm or Pocket PC?
Compatibility depends on your device and on the right driver. Check the listing for the supported models and software.
- Device list: look for the specific Palm OS or Pocket PC models the seller names.
- Driver or software: ask whether an install disc or driver is included, since that can be hard to find now.
- IR window and hinges: check the photos for cracks, wear or missing parts.
- Power: confirm the battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion.
