About this item
On a tight budget, a 15.6" Intel Core i5 6th Gen laptop with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD covers the basics for $180.00. This open-box silver machine has a 1080p display, enough for students, home office tasks, web browsing and video calls.
Is a 6th Gen Core i5 laptop still good enough today?
For everyday work, the 16GB of RAM and SSD help it feel responsive. It is older hardware, so check the operating system and whether it gets current updates; gaming and heavy editing aren't its strengths.
- The brand isn't named, so ask for the make and model number.
- Confirm a charger is included.
- Ask about battery condition and how long it holds a charge.
- Check which operating system is installed and whether it's activated.
