About this item
Need a cheap 22-inch monitor that just works? The ViewSonic VA2247-MH has Full HD 1080p resolution, AMD FreeSync and an ultra-thin bezel, and it costs $54.95 new. It's a sensible step up from a laptop screen for dorm rooms, kids' homework stations and basic office desks.
Is a 22-inch 1080p monitor good for students and home offices?
Yes, for most everyday tasks. At 22 inches, 1080p gives clear text for papers, spreadsheets and video lectures. The slim bezel also looks neat when you put two screens side by side.
- FreeSync: helps reduce screen tearing in casual games when paired with compatible AMD graphics.
- Inputs: check the listing for the ports you need, such as HDMI.
- Speakers and mounting: the title doesn't mention them, so confirm in the description.
- Dual screens: buying two gives your desk a matching look.
