About this item
This Thermaltake desktop combines a Ryzen 7 5800XT processor with a GTX 1070 graphics card, 16GB of RAM, a 932GB SSD and RGB lighting, listed new at $1,000. It fits 1080p gamers, students and home users who want a capable CPU now and plan to upgrade the graphics card later.
Is a GTX 1070 gaming desktop good value at $1,000?
Compare carefully. The processor is the newer part of this build, while the GTX 1070 is an older card, so price similar systems before deciding.
- Upgrade path: ask for the power supply wattage to plan a future GPU swap.
- Storage: 932GB is how a 1TB drive often reports its size; confirm capacity and type.
- 'New' condition: check whether every part, including the GPU, is new.
- RGB control: find out what software or controller runs the lighting.
