About this item
For a home office or a parent's first computer, a Bosgame E2 mini PC takes up very little desk space. This new unit, listed at $283.88, has an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. That setup handles email, spreadsheets, video calls and web browsing.
What can a Ryzen 5 3500U mini PC handle?
Everyday productivity and streaming suit it well. The 3500U is an older mobile-class chip, so it isn't built for modern gaming or heavy video editing.
- Monitor ports: the video outputs aren't listed, so confirm they match your display.
- Operating system: check whether Windows is installed and licensed.
- Mounting: see whether a VESA bracket is included if you want to hide it behind a monitor.
- Peripherals: plan to supply your own keyboard, mouse and screen.
