Is an open-box Dell UltraSharp 52 inch 6K monitor a safe buy?
It can be a smart way to save on a premium display, provided the seller is clear about its history. A screen this large is awkward to send back, so ask questions up front.
- Screen condition: request close-up photos and ask about any pixel or backlight issues.
- Hub use: check your laptop or desktop has a Thunderbolt port to get the most from the hub.
- In the box: confirm the stand, power cable and Thunderbolt cable are included.
- Packaging: ask how a monitor this size will be packed.
