About this item
For vintage computing collectors, a Sony VAIO VGN-UX390N UX Series ultra-mobile PC that is complete in its original box is a notable find. This open box example is described by the seller as working and is listed at $1,300, so it's priced for display shelves and collections rather than daily productivity.
What makes a boxed Sony VAIO UX ultra-mobile PC worth collecting?
Completeness drives value for older devices. A box with its original contents is harder to find than a loose unit, so verify exactly what's there.
- Box contents: compare the photos to the listing's claim of complete in original box.
- Working status: ask how it was tested and whether it boots and charges.
- Battery: older batteries often degrade, so ask about its current state.
- Coverage: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
