About this item
A budget gaming PC for $300 can be a good way into PC gaming. This open box listing leaves every detail out of the title, though, so the seller's description is where you find out what you're actually getting. Do some research on this desktop before you buy.
What should you check on a cheap gaming PC listing?
Start with the graphics card, processor and memory, because those decide which games will run well. If any of them are missing from the description, message the seller before you purchase.
- GPU and CPU: look for exact model names, not just the word "gaming."
- RAM and storage: note how much there is and whether the drive is an SSD.
- Open box condition: study the photos for wear and confirm what's in the box.
- Extras: see whether Windows, Wi-Fi or a keyboard and mouse are included.
