About this item
$120 is a striking price for a Dough Spectrum One 27-inch 4K IPS monitor with these specs: 144Hz refresh, 1ms response, HDR600, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C. That mix appeals to console gamers, PC players and creators who want one screen for work and play. Still, an open box deal this cheap deserves a careful read.
What should I check before buying an open box 4K 144Hz monitor?
Ask the seller why it was returned and look closely at the photos. A price this low could point to a cosmetic or functional issue, or the seller may just want a quick sale.
- Look for dead pixels, cracks or backlight problems in photos of the screen turned on.
- Confirm the power supply, stand and cables are included.
- Check whether any accessories or parts are listed as missing.
- Read the description for any defects the seller mentions.
