About this item
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCG is a 27-inch 4K gaming monitor with two modes. Run it at 4K 160Hz for sharp detail, or switch to FHD at 320Hz when fast shooters need every frame. The IPS panel supports HDR, and this open-box unit is listed at $299.99.
Is an open-box 4K 160Hz gaming monitor worth it?
Often it is, since open box can mean a real saving. The condition notes decide it, though, so read them closely and zoom into the seller's photos.
- Screen check: look for any mention of dead pixels, scratches or backlight problems.
- Stand and cables: confirm the stand, power supply and video cables are included.
- GPU match: 4K at 160Hz needs a strong graphics card, while FHD 320Hz suits esports titles.
- Covered: the eBay Money Back Guarantee protects the order.
