About this item
If your desktop won't power on and the power supply is the problem, this 500W power supply for Dell G5, XPS 8940, 7060, 5060 and 7080MT systems may help. It's listed new at $58.87 under part numbers D500EPM-00 and 5K7J8.
Will this 500W Dell replacement PSU fit my computer?
Start with the label on your current power supply. If it shows D500EPM-00 or 5K7J8, or your model is named in the title, you're on the right track. The title says "for Dell," so check the listing to see whether it's an original Dell part or a compatible replacement.
- Connectors: Compare the photos of the motherboard and GPU cables with your current power supply.
- Wattage: It's 500W. If you've upgraded your graphics card, check that this is still enough.
- Installation: Take photos of your old cable routing before you remove anything. It makes the swap easier.
