About this item
At $80, this open-box Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Tiny is a project machine more than a ready-to-use PC. It has a Core i7-6700T at 2.80GHz and 8GB of DDR4, but the title says no HDD, so there's no storage drive and likely no operating system.
What do you need to get a ThinkCentre M700 Tiny without a hard drive running?
Add an SSD, install an operating system and make sure you have a power adapter. Once that's sorted, it makes a capable small PC.
- Tinkerer favorite: mini PCs like this are popular for home labs, media servers, Pi-hole and network tools.
- Drive type: check which storage connections it supports before buying an SSD.
- Power adapter: confirm whether one is included, since it's easy to overlook.
- OS licensing: look for a license sticker in the photos if you plan to run Windows.
