About this item
A mechanical keyboard switch tester lets you feel the differences between switches before you spend money on a full set. This Keychron K Pro sampler includes 25 pieces across 4 mixed types, and it's listed open box for $35.
Who needs a mechanical keyboard switch tester?
It's useful for anyone planning a hot-swap keyboard build, first-time mechanical buyers torn between switch feels, and typists curious about an upgrade. It's a cheap way to avoid buying a full set of switches you end up disliking.
- Switch types: the title says 4 types but doesn't name them, so check the listing.
- Count: since it's open box, confirm all 25 switches are present.
- Compatibility: make sure the switches fit your keyboard's sockets before planning a swap.
- Keycaps: see whether keycaps are included or the switches come bare.
