About this item
Competitive players chasing speed should look at the SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Gen 3, which uses OmniPoint 3.0 HyperMagnetic switches in a Mini-sized board. It's listed new at $184.06, which puts it at the premium end of gaming keyboards.
Are the Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 HyperMagnetic switches worth it?
Magnetic switch keyboards appeal to FPS and esports players who want responsive input. If you mostly type documents, a cheaper board may do the job.
- Generation: confirm the photos and model details show Gen 3, not an earlier version.
- Connection: the title doesn't say wired or wireless, so check before buying.
- Layout: a Mini board leaves out keys found on full-size boards, so review the photos.
- Software: check the listing for any setup or customization details.
A strong fit for a streamlined gaming setup with room for wide mouse sweeps, and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
