About this item
Tinkerers and bargain hunters might take a chance on this GamaKay TK75HE-V2 Hall Effect RGB gaming keyboard in black, listed open box at $34.99. The catch is in the title: it is sold as-is, so something may not work perfectly.
Should you buy a Hall Effect keyboard sold as-is?
It makes sense if the price is right and you are comfortable troubleshooting or repairing it. Before you bid or buy, ask exactly why it is listed as-is.
- Known faults: ask the seller to describe any dead keys, lighting issues or connection problems.
- Missing parts: confirm whether the cable and any accessories are included.
- Hall Effect sensing: if the seller has tested it, ask whether the keys register reliably.
- Software: check the listing for any setup or configuration notes.
Read the description carefully, and treat an as-is item as a project board.
