About this item
Looking for a 34-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor that doesn't cost a fortune? The Sceptre C34 lists a 3440x1440 resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response, at $145.00 in new condition. The extra width suits racing and flight sims and open-world games. It also helps anyone who likes two documents side by side.
What do you need to run a 3440x1440 monitor at 180Hz?
You need a graphics card with enough power to push frames at this resolution. You also need a port and cable that support the full refresh rate, so check the listing for which inputs carry 180Hz.
- Inputs: confirm the HDMI and DisplayPort versions and which cables are included.
- Stand: look in the description for tilt or height adjustment and VESA mount support.
- Panel: the title doesn't name the panel type. Check it if color accuracy or viewing angles matter to you.
- Desk space: a 34-inch curved screen is wide, so measure your desk before you order.
