About this item
Few keyboards have the reputation of the IBM Model M keyboard. This 1993 example is described as new and wired, and it comes with an adapter but no box. It's listed open box at $250.
Can you use a 1993 IBM Model M keyboard on a modern computer?
That depends on the adapter. Older keyboards often use connectors that modern PCs lack, so confirm exactly which adapter is included and that it fits a port on your computer.
- Check the date and part labels on the back in the photos.
- Ask whether every key was tested after unpacking.
- Look closely for yellowing, cracks or missing keycaps.
- Confirm whether the cable is detachable or fixed.
It's a strong pick for collectors, retro PC builders and writers who want a classic typing feel. Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
