About this item
The ASUS ProArt PA27JCV is a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor with USB-C, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs plus Adaptive-Sync. This open-box unit is priced at $330. It's a good match for photo editors, designers and hybrid workers who connect a laptop over USB-C.
Is an open-box ASUS ProArt 4K monitor a smart buy for creators?
It can be, as long as the panel is clean. Open-box items vary, so rely on the photos and the seller's notes.
- USB-C: Check the listing to see whether it charges a laptop and at what wattage.
- Panel inspection: Ask for photos of an all-white screen to spot dead pixels or backlight issues.
- Accessories: Make sure the stand, power cable and video cables are included.
- Adaptive-Sync: Helps smooth motion in games on supported graphics cards.
