What should I check before buying an open-box Ryzen 5 9600X?
With CPUs, the details that matter are physical condition and compatibility. Ask for clear photos of the chip's underside, and confirm your motherboard supports this processor.
- Check whether a cooler is included. The title doesn't mention one.
- Confirm whether the retail box and paperwork are part of the sale.
- Your motherboard may need a BIOS update. Verify this with the board maker.
- The purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
It's a strong fit for gamers, streamers and students building their first PC.
