About this item
Without a number pad there's more room for wide mouse movements, which is why many FPS players like the SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL hot-swap optical keyboard. This one is listed as new and sealed at $99.99.
What does hot-swap mean on the Apex 9 TKL keyboard?
On a hot-swap keyboard, you can pull out and replace switches without soldering. The title only says optical, so check the description for which switches are installed and which replacements are compatible.
- Seal: if a sealed box matters to you, look for photos of intact factory seals.
- Layout: make sure the regional layout matches what you're used to.
- Cable and extras: the title doesn't list the box contents, so check what's included.
- Desk space: a tenkeyless keyboard works well on smaller desks and in gaming setups.
