About this item
Budget gamers looking at an HP Pavilion 16.1-inch gaming laptop can get in for $439.99 with this open-box unit. It has an Intel i5-10300H, GTX 1660 Ti graphics, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and Windows 11.
Can the HP Pavilion with GTX 1660 Ti still handle gaming?
This is older hardware, so think esports titles and older or lighter games at sensible settings, not the newest releases on max settings. It also works well as a student laptop that can game on the side.
- Ask about battery health, since an open-box laptop with an older chip may have seen use.
- Confirm the charger is included. Gaming laptops need their full-power adapter.
- Check the photos for keyboard shine, hinge play and screen marks.
- Look for a note that the seller ran games or a GPU stress test.
