About this item
A split keyboard lets each hand type at its own width, and the ZSA Moonlander MK1 split keyboard is a popular way to try that ergonomic setup. This black example comes with the platform and is listed open box at $399.00 by an independent eBay seller.
Is an open-box Moonlander split keyboard a good way to start?
Buying open box can lower the cost of trying an ergonomic keyboard. A split board has two halves and extra parts, though, so completeness matters.
- Both halves: confirm that each half and any connecting cables are included.
- Platform: the photos should show the platform pieces named in the title.
- Switches and keys: ask which switches are installed and whether any keycaps are missing.
- Coverage: the eBay Money Back Guarantee applies.
Suits programmers, writers and anyone who types for long stretches and wants a more natural hand position.
