About this item
This HP 14-inch laptop with an Intel Processor N150, 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage is listed open box at $104.99. The seller states up front that the track pad is faulty. If you already use an external mouse, that flaw may matter less than the low price suggests.
Can you still use an HP 14-inch laptop with a faulty trackpad?
Often, yes, because an external mouse can handle navigation. Read the listing to learn exactly what the fault is. A pad that moves the cursor on its own is harder to live with than one that simply doesn't respond.
- Best fit: light browsing, email, homework and streaming. 4GB is tight for heavy multitasking.
- Storage: 128GB fills quickly, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive.
- Also check: battery health, whether a charger is included, and any other wear shown in the photos.
- Protection: the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase if it arrives not as described.
