About this item
This RGB CPU cooler pairs a copper heatsink with a fan for Intel i5 and i7 builds on sockets 1155, 1150, 1151 and 1200, and it's rated for 85W. At $12.98 open box, it's a cheap refresh for an older office tower or a budget gaming build that could use some color.
Is an 85W CPU cooler enough for my i5 or i7?
Compare 85W with your processor's rated power. It suits many mainstream chips at stock settings, but it isn't meant for heavy overclocking.
- Socket match: confirm your board uses one of the four listed sockets.
- Clearance: height isn't stated, so ask before buying for a slim case.
- RGB connection: check how the lighting is powered and controlled.
- Thermal paste: see if any is included; if not, buy a tube.
