About this item
Split boards take some getting used to, but many people never go back. This open box Kinesis Freestyle Edge RGB split ergonomic keyboard comes from the Kinesis Gaming line. It's black, uses an English QWERTY layout, and has RGB lighting. The price is $70.00.
Is a split ergonomic keyboard good for gaming?
It can be. Splitting the board lets you set each half where your hands naturally rest, and you can push the right half aside to make room for your mouse. Expect a short adjustment period for typing.
- Connector: make sure whatever links the two halves is included.
- Accessories: check the listing for any extras that came in the original box.
- Keys: look over the photos for wear on the keycaps.
- Layout: confirm the English QWERTY layout is the one you want.
