About this item
The Google Pixelbook with an Intel 7th Gen i5 runs Chrome OS. That makes it a better fit for students, writers and browser-based office work than for heavy software. This open-box listing in silver includes 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD and is priced at $495.95. The "B17" in the title may be a seller reference, so ask about it if the listing doesn't explain it.
Is a 7th Gen i5 Pixelbook still a good Chromebook to buy?
That depends on software support. Chrome OS devices receive updates only for a set period, so look up this model's auto-update expiration date on Google's support pages before you buy.
- Compare the price with newer Chromebooks that have longer update windows.
- Confirm the charger is included.
- Check the battery condition and look for scratches on the screen.
- Ask whether it has been removed from any previous Google account.
