About this item
A KBDFANS compact keypad switch tester lets you try different switches before you commit to a full set for a custom build. An independent eBay seller lists this open box unit at $45.00.
How do you choose switches with a keypad switch tester?
Press each switch both slowly and quickly. Note which feel and sound you like, then think about how that fits your typing or gaming habits. A keypad-style tester feels closer to real use than loose switches do.
- Switch list: the title does not say which switches are included, so check the listing.
- Open box: confirm that all the switches and keycaps are present.
- Hot-swap: ask the seller whether the switches can be pulled out and swapped.
- Coverage: the purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
It is a good tool for first-time builders and anyone exploring the custom keyboard hobby.
