About this item
This custom gaming PC with an Intel i7-8700 and RTX 4060 pairs an older-generation processor with a current graphics card. It also has 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 2TB SSD and Windows 11, and it is listed at $879.98.
Is an i7-8700 and RTX 4060 gaming PC good for 1080p gaming?
The RTX 4060 is the main driver of frame rates and is a popular choice for 1080p play. The i7-8700 comes from an earlier Intel generation, so CPU-heavy games and heavy streaming will lean on it harder.
- Parts age: the listing is marked new, so ask whether every component is new or some are reused.
- Power supply: ask for the PSU brand and wattage.
- Storage: 2TB of SSD space holds a sizable game library.
- Windows 11: confirm it's activated.
