About this item
Programmers and writers who type all day often move to a split layout like the ErgoDox EZ Glow split ergonomic keyboard, giving each hand its own half. This one uses Kailh Silver switches with RGB lighting and comes with a tent and rests, listed open box at $285 by an independent eBay seller.
Is a split ergonomic keyboard hard to get used to?
Expect an adjustment period while your hands learn the new layout. Starting flat, then adding tent angle gradually, can ease the transition.
- Completeness: confirm both halves and any connecting and USB cables are included.
- Switch test: ask whether every key and the RGB glow work.
- Accessories: check photos for the tent pieces and rests mentioned in the title.
- Keycaps: look for wear on the most-used keys.
