About this item
Spreadsheet work and gaming on one board is the appeal of the Keychron Q6 Ultra 8K 100% mechanical keyboard, which keeps the full number pad. This open-box listing is the black version with brown switches and ZMK named in the title, priced at $199.90.
Is an open-box Keychron Q6 Ultra 8K a smart buy?
It can be, since open box usually means the packaging was opened, not that the board saw heavy use. Read the seller's condition notes and photos closely.
- Accessories: check for the cable, keycap puller and switch puller if the seller lists them.
- Switch feel: brown switches are typically tactile, a comfortable middle ground for typing and play.
- Connection: the title doesn't confirm wireless modes, so verify in the specifics.
- Keycaps and keys: look for shine, missing caps or stuck keys in photos.
