About this item
The ASUS ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi is an AM5 ATX motherboard with support for DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 and WiFi 7. This listing is open box. It makes a sensible base for an AM5 gaming PC or a creator workstation if you want current-generation memory and expansion without buying a flagship board.
What should I check on an open-box B850 motherboard?
Open box can mean anything from an unused return to a board that someone test-fitted. Read the seller's notes and study the photos closely.
- Look at the CPU socket photos for bent pins or a missing protective cover.
- Confirm which accessories are included, such as the WiFi antenna, cables and screws.
- Budget for DDR5 RAM, because older DDR4 kits will not work on this board.
- Make sure your case supports the ATX form factor.
The board is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee, so you can build with some peace of mind.
