About this item
The Firebat A8 mini PC fits a lot into a small box. It lists an AMD R7-8745HS processor, Radeon 780M integrated graphics, 32GB of DDR5, a 1TB NVMe drive and an OCuLink port. At $469.99 open box, it suits home offices, media centers, emulation setups and light gaming on a desk with little room to spare.
Why does OCuLink matter on a mini PC like the Firebat A8?
OCuLink can connect to an external graphics card dock, which gives you a path to more gaming power later. Check which dock and GPU you'd need before you plan around it.
- Operating system: confirm whether Windows or another OS is installed.
- Power supply: make sure the adapter is in the box.
- Mounting: ask whether a VESA bracket or any cables are included.
- Open box: ask how long it was used.
