About this item
At $45 open box, this Samsung Smart Monitor M5 (S27FM502EN) puts a 27-inch screen on your desk for very little. It's an FHD LCD running at 60Hz with a 4ms response time and HDMI input, finished in black. Think dorm room, a second office display, or a casual setup for streaming and browsing.
What should you check on a $45 open-box Samsung 27-inch monitor?
A low price on an open-box unit can mean missing pieces, so confirm exactly what's in the box before you commit.
- Stand and power: make sure both are included.
- Remote: the Smart Monitor name suggests built-in features that may rely on one; check the photos and description.
- Screen condition: ask for a powered-on photo.
- Resolution: FHD on 27 inches is fine for everyday use, though text looks softer than on a higher-resolution panel.
