About this item
Competitive FPS and rhythm-game players looking for a rapid trigger gaming keyboard should consider the Akko MOD007 V5 HE. It uses Astrolink switches mounted on an FR4 plate, and the HE build and rapid trigger support are its main selling points. It's listed new at $149.99.
What does rapid trigger do on a gaming keyboard?
Rapid trigger resets a key as soon as it starts to rise instead of waiting for a fixed point. Quick strafes and repeated taps register faster.
- FR4 plate: a fiberglass-based plate material that many enthusiasts choose for a firm, crisp feel.
- Layout and size: the title doesn't state the layout, so check the listing photos.
- Connectivity: confirm whether it's wired or wireless and which cable is included.
- Software: look for details on how to adjust the trigger points.
A focused tool for players who count milliseconds.
