About this item
At $54.95 new, the NZXT Function 2 MiniTKL optical gaming keyboard is a budget-friendly route into a compact layout. Optical switches use light rather than metal contacts to register presses, and the mini tenkeyless size leaves plenty of room for your mouse.
What is a MiniTKL keyboard and who is it for?
It trims the layout down further than a standard tenkeyless board. Check the listing photos to see exactly which keys and clusters remain.
- Gamers: the extra mouse space suits low-sensitivity FPS players.
- Small desks: it's a good fit for dorms, laptop stands and shared workspaces.
- Connection: the title doesn't say wired or wireless, so confirm it in the description.
- Box contents: look for the cable and any accessories in the listing.
If you rely on a number pad for spreadsheets, a full-size board may serve you better.
