About this item
Building on a budget? The Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE CPU air cooler uses 4 heat pipes to draw heat away from the processor, and it is listed new at just $22.89. A tower cooler like this is a sensible step up from a stock fan for office builds, home servers and entry-level gaming PCs. The title also mentions TL-C12C, so check the listing for what that part refers to.
Will the Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE fit my build?
Fit depends on your CPU socket, your RAM height and the width of your case. The title spells out none of these.
- Socket support: confirm that mounting hardware for your Intel or AMD board is included.
- Case clearance: compare the cooler's height with your case's maximum cooler height.
- Thermal paste: check whether paste comes in the box.
- RAM clearance: tall memory heatsinks can clash with tower coolers.
