About this item
At $32.95 new, the GM326 is an affordable way into the hobby. It's a 75% hot swappable mechanical keyboard that's wired and backlit, with a compact mini footprint. Students and first-time keyboard builders get room to experiment without spending much.
Why does hot swappable matter on a budget 75% keyboard?
Hot swap means you can pull out switches and put in new ones without soldering. If you want a different feel later, you can change the switches instead of buying a whole new keyboard.
- Layout: 75% keyboards keep the arrow keys and usually a function row in a tight frame.
- Compatibility: check which switch pin types the sockets accept.
- Stock switches: see the listing for which switches come installed.
- Backlight: check whether it's single-color or RGB.
