Is the Ryzen 7 9700X a good AM5 upgrade for gaming?
If you already have an AM5 board, eight cores and a 5.5GHz top speed leave plenty of headroom for modern games, streaming or apps running in the background.
- Motherboard: make sure your AM5 board supports this chip and check whether it needs a BIOS update first.
- Open box: look at the photos of the contact pads and the packaging for any damage.
- Cooling: the title doesn't mention a cooler, so check the listing and budget for one if needed.
- Protection: the purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
