About this item
Red linear switches are a popular choice for fast-paced games, and this new SteelSeries Apex 7 mechanical keyboard pairs them with a full-size, wired layout for $89.99. It fits competitive players who also write essays, code or reports on the same PC.
Are red linear switches on the Apex 7 gaming keyboard good for typing?
Linear switches travel straight down without a tactile bump, so they feel smooth. Some typists like that, while others prefer feedback. If you're unsure, try a board with red switches first.
- Wired: a direct connection with nothing to recharge. Check the cable details.
- Full size: leave desk space for a full-width board plus your mouse.
- Extras: the title doesn't mention a wrist rest or software features, so read the description.
- Protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
