About this item
Mid-range gamers get a lot of hardware for $1,200 with this new MSI Katana 15.6-inch gaming laptop: an Intel Core i7-14650HX, NVIDIA RTX 5070 with 8GB, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Can the MSI Katana with RTX 5070 handle modern games?
The RTX 5070 and an HX-series i7 are a capable pairing for current titles and streaming, and 1TB leaves space for several large game installs. The 16GB of RAM is fine for most games; heavy multitaskers may want to check whether it can be upgraded.
- Refresh rate: the title skips it, so look for it in the specifics.
- Charger: gaming laptops need their full adapter; confirm it's included.
- New condition: ask whether the box is sealed.
- Cooling: a laptop stand or cooling pad can help during long sessions.
eBay's Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase.
