About this item
At $25.00, the open-box AULA F87 Pro wireless mechanical keyboard lists a lot of features: tri-mode connectivity, a 4000mAh battery, RGB lighting and a hot-swappable design. That makes it a tempting budget choice for students, gamers and people buying their first mechanical keyboard.
What does tri-mode mean on a wireless mechanical keyboard?
Tri-mode keyboards usually connect three ways: by cable, by Bluetooth and through a 2.4GHz receiver. Check the listing to confirm all three are supported and that any receiver is included.
- Open box: look for missing keycaps or switches in the photos.
- Battery: ask the seller how long it holds a charge.
- Hot-swap: you can try new switches later, and a puller tool makes that easier.
- Switch type: the title doesn't name it, so check the description.
