About this item
The STGAubron gaming PC desktop costs $549.99 and suits first-time PC owners, students and families who want light gaming plus everyday work. It's listed new and combines an i7 processor with a Radeon RX550, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Windows 11 Home are included.
Is an RX550 desktop good for gaming?
The RX550 is an entry-level graphics card. It's a better fit for lighter games, older titles and esports at modest settings than for big new releases. For homework, streaming video and browsing, the 16GB of RAM is a comfortable amount.
- Ask for the i7 generation, because the title doesn't list it.
- Check the power supply rating if you might upgrade the graphics card later.
- 512GB fills up fast with games, so see whether there's a spare drive bay.
- Confirm which accessories, if any, come in the box.
