About this item
A Soarer's converter for XT/AT to USB is how many collectors get an IBM Model F or Model M typing on a modern PC. This new adapter is listed with remapping, macros and NKRO support. You can move keys around, set up shortcuts and keep multi-key input working, instead of just plugging in an old keyboard.
Will this XT/AT to USB adapter work with my vintage keyboard?
Compare the plug on your keyboard's cable with the listing, because XT and AT boards use different protocols. The title names IBM Model F and Model M boards specifically.
- Ask the seller which connector style the converter has.
- Look in the listing for setup or configuration instructions.
- Check which USB cable type is included.
- A great fit for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts and retro computing fans.
